DON’T CONFUSE LIFE WITH DEATH

Sometimes you can participate in activities you believe will cause more life when they actually are causing death to your aspirations, spirituality or maybe even physically.   The reason why is because the elements that causes death are usually hidden beneath appealing information that’s designed to engage your personal will.

Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”   Genesis 3:4 & 5

The above scripture depicts how appealing information that causes death is wrapped in a lie. ’You shall not surely die.” directly contradicted what God had spoken and was therefore a lie. However offering a way of living that seems better causes belief in the lie especially if iothers who are “living the lie” are seemingly living better without harm

How Not to Confuse Life With Death

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

The thief (your enemy Satan) agenda is to:

  1. Steal - Take without your knowledge. Satan will use anybody or anything to steal the abundant life from you that God wants you to have.

  2. Kill - Once stolen, he then wants to kill it or take the life out of abundant life.  This can be in your relationships, career, hopes and your dreams.

  3. Destroy - Lastly Satan wants to eliminate any trace of life as if it never existed.

Therefore always keep in mind, no matter how intriguing or appealing, if it a lie is in it, it will eventually lead to some form of death. This prevents confusing death (operating under false truth or a lifestyle opposite of God’s word), with the abundant life that comes through Jesus.

Ironically, access to Jesus’ abundant life came through His death - Therefore it took death to conquer death and through His death (and resurrection) we can have the abundant life that makes it easy for us not to confuse life with death.
